We are excited to announce that we will be premiering our new piece, “KHRONOS,” with the Wichita State University Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Timothy Shade this Spring! “KHRONOS” reflects on seven different facets of the human condition through the lens of time; butterflies from love, envy of “The Jones,” stagnation, and aging being a few of those themes. This piece features Da’Kneisha Nikoyle Blount as the soprano soloist, but also many of the instrumentalists in the ensemble as well.

Concert Program

Paul Dooley - Meditation at Lagunitas

Robert Tindle - Job’s Lament (Premiere)

Justin Hall & Da’Kneisha Blount - Kronos (Premiere)

Casey Martin - Ashen Skies for a Timeworn World

Our performance will be Friday, April 1, 2022 at the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Conference at Jones Concert Hall at Baylor University in Waco, TX at 2pm.

A livestream of this performance will be available via baylor.edu/music/live.

This concert is FREE of charge and open to the public.
